Most

Some Violets were Blue
A Few months ago we contacted you
For a whole kitchen redo.
The measurements were taken
To make sure there was no mistaken’
Checked more than once, maybe two

Cabinet orders were made
Gas oven, Steam oven, Microwave too
Whole kitchen will be new.
You said 3 weeks should pass
The days went by very fast
Then came Del in his van
As a carpenter he is quite a man.
All new cabinets in
Now looks like a real kitchen
Empty boxes put out to the trash
Heard the waster truck guy yell “Mash”.
Wrote the final check to you
Said there was a trip you must do
We had a big party to show
Now ending 35 years of Coast Guard Reserve should go.
